Electronic Cigarettes – A Tool Against Nicotine Addiction

Everywhere we go there are anti-smoking campaigns going on which makes it more and more difficult for smokers to find someplace where they can smoke in peace. Gone are the days where anyone can just light a cigarette and smoke their cigarettes. Gone are the days when public places made room for cigarette smokers. Today, anyone who smokes in public is treated like pariah.

Comes in the electronic cigarettes which are considered to be a healthier and cheaper way to get over nicotine addiction. The gadget comes in two versions, the two parts and the three parts. Both have a nicotine cartridge and an atomiser. The gadget is made to look like a real cigarette complete with a lighted tip which can ‘burn’ hot when the smoker inhales.

The gadget is not a tool to quit smoking however, it is seen as a tool which can aid someone who wants to cut down on their nicotine intake and eventually quit smoking. The gadget’s nicotine cartridge is sold in different nicotine strengths and the nicotine addict can gradually decrease the amount of the nicotine they take in when they buy the lowered strengths as soon as their previous cartridge runs out. There are also cartridges sold which have zero nicotine but leaves the smoker the satisfaction of the taste.

Many have found that this is a better alternative to the nicotine patch which is another tool used to get over the nicotine addiction. However, as many people experience side effects it is no longer very popular. The electronic cigarettes are there to soothe the craving without harming the smoker or those around them. The ‘smoke’ is actually water vapor but looks like real smoke. Even when puffed directly to a fire alarm it would not trip it off.

Another plus to the e-cigarette, as it is commonly called; there are no chemicals which can cause cancer usually associated with nicotine. This is because the nicotine in this gadget is not burned and only contains twenty or so substances which are not harmful to the body. The cigarettes, on the other hand, need to be lit before the smoke can be inhaled and at last count, the smoke alone contains more than 40 thousand free radicals which are all cancer causing agents.

Another plus to the e-cigarette is the tar-free smoking. As the smoking of this gadget does not involve any actual burning and there is no actual smoke coming out of it, just water vapor, there are no nicotine stains and there are no bad odours which are usually associated with smoking.

Those who wish to get over their nicotine addiction gradually can actually succeed when using the e-cigarette. The weaning off from the nicotine is gradual, thanks to the calibrated strengths in the nicotine cartridge, so there is no fear of experiencing any harsh withdrawals normally associated with cold turkey methods. Also, there is no nausea or other unwanted side effects associated with medical nicotine patches. This may just be the solution for those who want to quit smoking and get over their addiction.

Ever Thought About Neck Wrinkles?

Are you looking for a neck firming cream that you can trust to remove all unpleasant skin marks that those years of neglect has left you with? If you are, then you just might be on the right track after you have read this review on the Neck Firming Cream by Wrinkle System.

If you have been using a moisturizer as your treatment for the wrinkles and other signs of aging on your neck area, then it is not enough. Though they help you in achieving a healthy skin, they do not fix the real problem of loose and sagging skin. The Neck Firming Skin developed by a reputable skin care company, the Wrinkle System Diamond Edition is your best bet in giving you a firmer, healthier, and more appealing skin tone reducing the skin folds in the neck area.

With regular application of the Neck Firming cream you can see and feel that you have gained back the firmness, resiliency and elasticity of your skin in these areas. This is one of the best neck firming creams that should be able to rejuvenate your skin and reduce the damage caused by cumulative exposure under the heat of the sun.

The Neck Firming Cream does this amazing work of preventing your skin from turning into “turkey skin” by these simple ways. First, the solution is made in such a way that it has an effect on making a freely flowing circulation that enables the toxic elements in your body to be removed from the body more effectively. Once removed, you prevent any premature skin aging from taking place.

Another means of giving you a healthier skin is by erasing or reducing evidence of sun damage called the sun spots that have resulted due to exposure from sun rays. More than often, we neglect to put on sunblock on the neck area and on the area called the v-line. With years of overlooking the habit of shielding your neck from the UV light, other parts of your skin will become darker than the others and these are what you have now as sun spots. Regular use of the Neck Firming Cream can do wonders for these kinds of skin problems as well.

Last but definitely an important effect of this firming cream is tightening the loose and flabby skin as a result of weight loss due to diet, exercise, or normal fat deposit depletion that occurs as a person ages. When your skin is made to stretch to a certain extent due to the muscles and fats stored under it, it does not return to its previous conditions when you lose them. Instead it creates folds of skin on your neck area which could be upsetting to look at in front of the mirror. That is why you need the Neck Firming Cream to somehow tighten your skin and remove even the deepest skin lines and wrinkles on your neck area cause.

With this Neck Firming Cream review, the writer wishes to enlighten you more, and assist you in choosing the best cream for your neck skin.

Building A Better Future

Where will education be in five years?  What about ten years?  I recently read an article in Tech Crunch about an opinion on education that was very bleak.  It all but called the investing people do in educational spending a rip-off.  While I’m not in agreement with this assessment, I do have to question why people spend so much money on private schools.

I went to a public school and came out just fine.  In fact I’d like to argue I’m successful, can be on a nice track to retirement if I keep up with what I’m doing, and that I’m well rounded.  I can say that for most people who went to my school, and it was diverse, educational, and fun. We had many good athletes, many good scholars, and many people who are achieving greatness in life.

So what do I have against private schools?

It seems that so many of the people who go to private schools are into drugs, messed up, connected with a falsehood that they are going to succeed because their already made it family is successful, wealthy, and living debt free.  I think they think they are owed more by society and that they were born smarter, stronger, happier, and more successful.  But, are they?  No, not at all.  Are they owed anything?  No.  Not at all.  Are they prone to be able to take more chances based on the fact they started out with more wealth?  Maybe.  They can take over the family business, get a quick loan, get advice from wealthy people and associates of their family, and use the school’s network to get business contacts rather fast.  I’m sure of that.  It’s a family ordeal and private schools look out for their students.

But, I like the common man.  The one who goes to public school, figures stuff out on his or her own, and does it.  Gets things done.  Builds and builds businesses quite well so they can learn on the fly, from real world experience.  That’s what is I think, at least.

It’s like the private school families only use skin care products with gold while the public minded and raised school children are out there using just any ordinary eye serum – and they could care less if it has gold in it or some other fad of an ingredient.

Silver spoons aside, I think there are many great private schools and urge people to check them out – I just think growing up in diversity, with different surroundings, and different folks is the way to do it.  Just my two cents for today.

What is the Real Estate Market Doing this Year?

Following the real estate market in the USA is something like following Dennis Rodman around Las Vegas – you never know what you are going to get and you never know how the tide can turn very rapidly.  Looking back at the last decade, the real estate market was stagnant following the tech fall around the year 2000, with everyone’s “tech stocks” tanking and the sharp business people losing 100′s of thousands in the process.  Then, like a rocket going into space, it seemed that every house in the country went up to new heights.  2002 started a surge in real estate prices, and it grew in 2003, surged in 2004, and reached highs, depending on where you look, in 2005 and 2006.

Then, like a Dikembe Mutombo blocked shot, the real estate market went into the air, without any control, just floating around and wondering – what next?

Here we are, April of 2011, and the real estate economy has already gone through one of the largest droughts since the great depression.  Where does it go from here?

Let’s look at the USA Markets that went up like a rocket in the boom.  Miami Real Estate, for example, was one of the most attractive buys in the world at one point.  Condo apartments were going up by 10% every month in 2004 and part of 2005.  The contracts to pre-construction real estate were getting flipped, sometimes more than once. People were paying other people to line up in the lines for new offerings for condo conversions like the Mirador, formerly Forte Towers. People were moving to South Beach in droves, heading to the famous clubs and night life lounge & restaurant scene like they were movie stars.  Miami real estate boomed and was among the largest percentage gainers in the entire USA real estate market.

However, on the converse side of everything (there is always a BUT…) the market went down just as fast as it went up.  Right now, the foreclosures in Miami are astounding.  The area is filled with empty commercial plaza’s that are looking for tenants and hoping people show up to fill vacancies.  The economy in Miami is so bad that many of the big name clubs that were good in Miami – not to mention the restaurants – are gone.  They fled town along with most of the people who mortgaged their homes and took out all the equity and just bolted for greener pastures.  They went back to Illinois, New York, or Texas, tails between their legs, looking for work.  The boom made people rich, then the bust gave them a swift kick in the groin that brought them back to reality.

But really, anyone thinking that bartenders would be driving Lambo’s and living in $500,000 condo apartments on the Ocean would keep up – was dead wrong – and are now part of just why the economy is where it is.

What will happen in 2011′s real estate market is anyone’s guess – but my guess is that it will remain a tough market to find buyers for anyone who needs to sell.  I think it will be 2014 before real buying starts again.

Celebrities Battle Cellulite

Cellulite is something that not even the hottest Hollywood Celebrities can beat.  It’s a part of life that even the most beautiful, fit women have to deal with.  There were many reports of celebrities with cellulite surfacing all over the super markets last week.  Just most recently, Kim Kardashian was all over the news talking about cellulite.  Kim is the poster child for beauty, glamour, and all of the “it things” in California and New York.  Just recently, the New York Daily News ran a story about Kim K. and her cellulite.

Cellulite Dimples*Note. This is not a photo of Kim Kardashian, it’s just a stock photo of cellulite.

In the New York Daily news, the report about Kim’s cellulite was quoted and re-quoted all over the media.  Other publications ran stories of her thigh and butt cellulite.  While it’s unknown how well – or how poor, her diet is – it’s a known fact now (you can thank the media) that she does have various cellulite dimples on her otherwise impeccable body.

This photo is of Kim (with clothing on) and shows a droopy, saggy thigh and butt area.

Cellulite on her thighs?

Kim Kardashian Celllulite Photos

While there is no arguing that Kim K. is a sex symbol, the world has come to grips with the fact that even she has cellulite.  If you are worried about cellulite, you should follow the tips below, which can reduce the appearance of cellulite.

1.  Avoid sugar.  Sugar is awful for the human body and is a bad thing to put in the body whether you are prone to cellulite dimples or not.  Sugar will make you gain weight, and that is a fact that has been proven over time.

2.  Exercise regularly.  This gets your skin moving and keeps your metabolism raised.  With a high metabolism you burn more calories and burn the right calories – fat calories.   You will not lose your cellulite if you are sitting at home all day just eating potato chips, which leads us right into the next item.

3. Overall diet.  An overall sound diet has to be followed.  Not following a good diet plan will lead to cellulite development.  If you are looking for the best diet tips, I would suggest vegetables, (fruits can have a lot of sugar) water, and organic foods.  Swap out butter for almond butter, and enjoy snacking on carrots and celery instead of potato chips and candy.  Use a high octane carb diet with enough protein that will resemble the size of your hand instead of oversized, gigantic portions that will leave you full and tired.

4.  Use some sort of cellulite treatment.  This can be an anti cellulite cream, which many people believe can smooth the skin and get rid of cellulite dimples.  Another way to smooth down those dimples is through a cellulite massage.    Any way you can reduce the appearance of cellulite is a major advantage and will help you get the skin tones you want without having to face the music and admit you have cellulite.  It’s an embarrassing trait that no woman – or man, wants to face.

Anti Aging Treaments: Worth it?

Men and women alike spend money on all sorts of items that just make people gawk.  Lately, there has been a huge increase in the number of people getting plastic surgery, and it begs the question:  are they worth the money?  Many alternative anti aging treatments are certainly abundant, and it’s anyone’s guess as to what will be on the market for sale next year that aims to curb the many signs of aging.

Let’s look at the best anti aging treatments known to man:

Botox:

Botox is a popular brand name for a medicinal form of botulinum toxin type A, also known as onabotulinumtoxinA.  When this is injected in minimal doses into particular muscles, Botox does not poison but rather acts as a muscle relaxant with long term results.  (Typically 3-6 months.).

With two different, yet similar forms of botulinum toxin medicine, Botox and Botox Cosmetic, this is a popular choice among women.  The first, Botox, is issued to treat certain medical problems. Botox Cosmeticm the latter, is more inclined to reduce the appearance of facial wrinkles.   However, it’s common to hear of both of these versions referred to as just Botox.

Wrinkle Creams:

Anti wrinkle creams, wrinkle creams, wrinkle reduction creams, or wrinkle stimulating creams are all names of anti aging treatments in a cream based form that works to hide the appearance of wrinkles.  These are usually sold in a 50 ml jar, and applied to the face.  Most of them have been using the cosmeceutical ingredients Agireline, Matrixyl 3000, and other name brand peptides that are made overseas and imported into skin labs for use in anti aging creams.  Even the best wrinkle creams out there won’t totally get rid of a facial wrinkle, but they sure can make them become reduced in depth, size, and appearance.  An anti aging boom started in 2008 as many baby boomers started realizing they need to use wrinkle and eye creams to start looking younger and stave off the naturall signs of aging like wrinkles, fine lines, crows feet, dark circles, and sun damage.

The jury is out on if they work, but not for finding a lack of companies with top quality ingredients.

Home Remedies:

These are nothing new, but many home remedies are out there touting the various ways they can help reduce wrinkles, take care of acne, and do all they can to make people look younger. I’ve read about putting guacamole on the face, using castor oil on wrinkles and even facial exercises to help reduce turkey neck.  (You know, that look of wrinkles on the neck that sag down and resemble that of a turkey.)

The bottom line on home remedies, is that if they worked, the other two options would not be listed.  Botox and injectables are a multimillion, if not billion dollar business, and anti aging cosmetics are also of the same caliber. If using spare avocados and other fruits around the house were the answer, I highly doubt people would flock to the beauty counter with their credit cards in hand to buy the latest anti aging treatments.

Electronic Cigarettes – Fab or Fad?

Many people seem to be clinging to these new vapor smoking devices called electronic cigarettes.  I for one have seen them around town on a much more frequent basis.  If you have not seen them, these are the latest in alternatives to smoking tobacco cigarettes.  Sure, I’ve seen the patch, the gum, the fake stuff, and much more.  But these seem like the real deal, for many reasons.

For starters, these alternatives share many of the same traits that tobacco cigarettes carry.  One, they do have nicotine.  It’s very important people know that.  There however is no tobacco, which is another great thing to point out.  Second, the electronic cigarette emits vapor that looks like cigarette smoke.  Although, it does not linger, does not smell, and does not have the nasty second hand stains on clothing or other articles like furniture.  This is a major advantage for those of you who smoke around children.  There is nothing worse than having a child smell like cigarette smoke because of unruly, irresponsible parents.

So are electronic cigarettes, also known as “e cigarettes” a fad, or are they here to stay?

Much of the answer will be decided by the FDA and the people upstairs in the government who are looking to regulate these or at the very least, ban their existence until more testing is done.  The big opposition is that of Big Tobacco, for the most part.  Losing sales of tobacco cigarette customers is a huge hit to them, and they want to keep them smoking regular cigarettes as long as possible.  But will they win?

The fad continues to grow, and I think it’s past a “fad” stage.  These are here to stay, as many people are seeing success with them.  Although they are not sold or marketed as a smoking cessation device, it’s been something that has helped people quit smoking cigarettes.  (Or, to say it better, change over to a better alternative that does not have second hand smoke, ash, tar, or many of the carcinogens that tobacco cigs have.)

Who can blame smokers for changing to e cigarettes?  They are much more clean for the environment, and some people say they are much cheaper than regular smoking.  I’m sure they are, as all you do is replace cartridges and you use the same battery as before.  The battery is used to charge the water vapor and in turn emits it into a cloud of vapor, which vanishes into thing air on the exhale.  Whoever invented these is brilliant.  There are many flavors like Cherry, Coffee, Apple, Grape, and many, many more.

Blu Cigs seems to be one of the more established players in this e cigarette revolution.  They have an innovative logo, a slick website, and have done their homework in marketing.  Their products fetch $69.95 for a starter kit, and this gets the new smoker all they need to start smoking e cigarettes.  If there was another thing that sets them apart, it’s the Blu tip that lights up at the end of the device.  A blue colored LED light shows people indeed that they are smoking Blu Cigs.

So, fad or fab?  I’ll let you all decide by leaving comments below this article.
